We loved hanging out with Amy + Daniel for their Lovely Cathedral Park Engagement Session. The last time we’d met up with them was over a cup of coffee on a cold December day. It was raining as is the normal here in the Pacific Northwest that time of year and the holidays were in full swing. When Amy + Daniel showed up, they walked in and she had the biggest, most welcoming smile ever & Daniel had this cool, kind and gentle way about him. We talked things wedding and wedding photography….
After chatting and getting to know them a bit more, we knew they were our couple. It was a match and we were just hoping we’d get that email every photographer likes to get “You’re the ones for us. Will you please be our wedding photographer for our big day!?” You know the kind of note that gives you ALL the feels and makes you feel cool? Yeah…that one…
Thank goodness they didn’t make us wait long…because that email came in and we did a happy dance! They liked us, as much as we liked them!
So after they have been staying busy, trying to find a new office and buying a NEW HOUSE, they made it here to this awesome August day! Where all those plans and ideas are finally coming together…Amy is getting her makeup and hair done, Daniel is hanging with his guys and in a few short hours-there will be a wedding ceremony & families will join and two lives will officially become one.
We’re so lucky this is our job- because hanging out with super rad people all day, sharing in their big life moments- it is such an amazing feeling! Their Lovely Cathedral Park Engagement Session showed us JUST how they are together. I know there will be lots of laughter…
And LOTS & LOTS of LOVE today…and we can’t wait for that.
